Infrastructure The B.USOC, like each User Support and Operation Centre (USOC), is part of the Ground Segment for the International Space Station (ISS) and is connected to the Manned Spaceflight and Microgravity (MSM) Ground Segment via the Interconnection Ground Subnetwork (IGS). The B.USOC supplies to scientists a set of Services and Resources to prepare, perform, monitor and analyse their different experiments on board the ISS.
Each USOC provides premises for users, visitors and payload dedicated external equipment. This includes offices, control and meeting rooms, payload dedicated laboratories and the associated technical infrastructure.
