Partnership SAS - B.USOC The B.USOC (Belgian User Support and Operation Centre) and SAS (Space Applications Services) have a cooperation agreement for the implementation and operation of the B.USOC as a control centre for International Space Station payloads.
This support entails providing information and help in the preparation of their proposal to ESA, but also allowing the scientists to access ground models of the payloads, to prepare their experiments. To support this function, B.USOC has its own laboratory infrastructure at the disposal of the scientists.
During space missions, like the PromISS-4 mission, Space Applications Services also provides extra ground operators to complement the B.USOC team. The ground operators are responsible for monitoring and commanding the payload from ground, and for distributing the experiment data to the scientists. http://www.spaceapplications.com/
