October 19, 2003 - Spanish Soyuz Mission Cervantes

After leaving the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan October 18th, the Soyuz stays in orbit around the Earth for two days before reaching the International Space Station (ISS).

The crew executes some firing test procedures to verify the status of the docking subsystem. The TOCC (Taxi flight Operation Coordination Center) enters into the crucial part of operations supporting the docking of the Soyuz to the ISS.

The docking with the ISS will take place October 20 at 09:16 CEST (07:16 UT).
